One person, building apps that finish the job.
Sali Apps is run by Sheraz Ali. Not a team, not a startup, just one engineer who spent years building software for other people and decided to build something with his own name on it instead.
The pattern that started it: almost every app in the Shopify ecosystem collects something and then shows it to you. A dashboard of scores. A chart of answers. The merchant is left to notice the problem, remember it, and act on it. When you’re also packing orders and answering DMs, that mostly means not acting on it at all.
The apps here are built to close that gap. Notice the problem, then do something about it, while it still matters.
How it's funded
No investors, and what that buys you
There is no venture money here, which means there is no growth curve someone else expects and no eventual pressure to extract more per merchant than the product is worth. It also means this has to make money to survive, so here is the honest version. We need you to pay us, and we’d rather earn that than trick you into it.
In practice that shows up as pricing decisions. No per-feature add-on fees. A free plan that is a real plan rather than a trial with an expiry date. CSV export on every tier, so leaving is never expensive. Self-serve cancel, because making you email support to stop paying is a dark pattern, not a retention strategy.
It also shows up as a slower roadmap. One app at a time, built properly, before the next one starts. You can read exactly what has shipped rather than take a claim on faith.

What you can hold us to
Four things, all checkable
Not values. Commitments with a way to verify them.
- The website matches the app
- Every price and every feature claim on this site is mirrored from the app’s own code, and gated features name the plan they need. If you find a claim here that the app doesn’t keep, tell us — that is a bug with a fix, not marketing.
- No claims we can’t back
- There is no AI badge on an app with no AI in it. We don’t call answer counts “revenue attribution.” Several competitors do both; matching them would mean lying to you on the first screen you see.
- Never incentivised reviews
- We will never offer you anything for a review, and our apps will not let you offer your customers anything for one either. It breaches Shopify’s rules, Google’s and Trustpilot’s, and it makes every review in the category worth less.
- A person answers the email
- Support goes to support@saliapps.com, on every plan including the free one. It is read by the person who wrote the code you have a question about.
