Getting started

Install Feedloop and publish your first survey in about five minutes.

Install

Install Feedloop from the Shopify App Store. You sign in with your existing Shopify credentials. There is no separate Feedloop account to create, and no password to manage.

Create your first survey

  1. Open Surveys → New survey.
  2. Pick a template, or start from a blank survey. Templates are grouped by what they measure (NPS, attribution, product feedback) and by store type.
  3. Edit the questions. Every survey supports NPS, single choice, multiple choice and open text, and each question can be required or optional.
  4. Choose a placement. This is either the post-purchase slot (thank-you and order status pages) or the on-site pop-up.
  5. Activate it.

One active survey per slot

Each placement holds one active survey at a time. Activating a second post-purchase survey automatically pauses the first, and Feedloop tells you which one it paused. The two slots are independent, so you can run a post-purchase survey and an on-site pop-up at the same time.

The on-site pop-up slot requires the Growth plan or above. The post-purchase slot is available on every plan, including Free.

Turning on the storefront pop-up

The pop-up ships as a theme app embed. After activating a pop-up survey, open Online Store → Themes → Customize → App embeds and enable Feedloop. If the pop-up is not appearing, this is almost always the reason.
